OPENLAB NETWORK is a network of modern educational laboratories connecting science, creativity, and real-world practice. It offers students, teachers, and the general public unique courses, workshops, and activities where they can explore science and technology in a fun and interactive way. With us, science makes sense.
COURSES
Main goal: OpenLab Network members offer courses based on hands-on learning and real scientific practice. Our programmes transform school knowledge into memorable experiences and introduce participants to current scientific topics in an accessible and engaging way. OpenLab courses connect schools, science, and real-world practice.
Target groups: OpenLab courses are always adapted to the specific needs and age of participants. They are designed for:
- primary and secondary school pupils,
- high-school students,
- teachers and teacher students,
- the general public,
- motivated individuals and talented participants.
Voda v pohybu
Cílem kurzu je seznámit účastníky s běžnou laboratorní praxí a každodenní vědeckou prací. Hlavním tématem bude vysvětlení jevu tzv. povrchového napětí a kde se s ním můžeme setkat. Ukážeme si, jak fungují prostředky na mytí nádobí a co mohou s povrchovým napětím provést. V tomto kurzu nebude chybět ani malé kouzlo.
Das Labyrinth der Stoffeigenschaften
Wie kann reines Salz aus einem Salzstein gewonnen werden? Was passiert mit Feststoffen unter Hitzeeinwirkung? Welche Methoden gibt es, um äußerlich ähnliche Stoffe voneinander zu unterscheiden? Und wie entstehen Legierungen mit speziellen Eigenschaften – beispielsweise für technische Anwendungen oder medizinische Implantate?
Air Lab – Tracking the invisible
What does air consist of? How can it be created in an experiment? And does invisible air also need space? In this course, young visitors will discover the secrets behind the air that surrounds us.
COURSES
